Returns & Exchange

START A RETURN

Valid Return Period

  • You may return most items within 30 days of the delivery date for a full refund or store credit.
  • To be eligible, items must be unused, in their original packaging, and include all original tags, accessories, and paperwork.


Final Sale & Non‑Returnable Items

  • Items marked as final sale, clearance, customized, or part of a promotion are not eligible for return.
  • Gift cards, personalized items, and items damaged after delivery are
    also non-returnable.
  • All custom pieces are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.


Return Process

  • Initiate your return through our online Return Portal using your order number and Shipping postal code.
  • Select the item(s) you wish to return and the reason for return.
  • Once submitted, you will receive an RMA number and return confirmation.
  • Pack all item(s) to be returned securely in a box (you may reuse the original packaging or use another box).
  • Include a print-out of your order confirmation email
  • Include a note clearly stating your RMA number
  • Ship your package using a post office or carrier of your choice to the return address provided in the Return Portal.
  • You will receive an email notification once we receive your return, and again when your refund has been issued.

Shipping Costs

  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, except in cases of defective or incorrect items, which Makena will cover.
  • Consider using insured/tracked shipping, as we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.


Condition of Returned Items

  • Returns must be in like-new condition: unworn, unwashed, with no signs of use or damage.
  • Missing items, including packaging or accessories, may result in a restocking fee or denial of return.


Refund Types & Processing Time

  • Eligible returns will be processed within 7–10 business days of receipt.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method or as store
    credit if requested.
  • Allow an additional 5–7 days for the funds to appear on your account.


Exchanges

  • We do not offer direct exchanges. To swap items, return the original purchase and place a new order.


Defective or Wrong Items

  • If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us immediately with your order number and photos.
  • We will provide a pre-paid return label and ship a replacement or issue a refund in full.


Cancellation Policy

  • Orders may be canceled before shipping. Once shipped, follow the return process above.


Limitations & Exceptions

  • Makena reserves the right to refuse any return that does not comply with
    this policy.
  • Cases involving damage from misuse or late returns may result in a partial refund or no refund.
