(Lasts a lifetime when you treat it right)

Our signature gold pieces begin with top-grade surgical stainless steel for strength, longevity, and skin-friendly wear. Each piece is then finished with advanced PVD coating, using a luxuriously thick 12k gold layer that’s far richer than standard jewelry plating. UV-E coating (Ultraviolet-Enhanced Coating) seals the surface, creating exceptional color, impressive durability, and a lasting shine that holds up beautifully to everyday wear. This combination is:

  • 5–10× more durable than traditional gold plating over brass

  • Hypoallergenic & nickel-free

  • Water-safe for daily wear (ocean, shower, sweat)

  • Tarnish-resistant and scratch-resistant (but not scratch-proof)

With just a little aloha, your piece will stay radiant for decades.

Daily Wear Tips

  • YES, wear it every day! Swimming in the ocean, showering, working out, and sleeping are all fine.

  • Put jewelry on last, after perfume, hairspray, sunscreen, or lotion (these can slowly dull the EOC over years).

  • Remove for heavy work, take it off when lifting weights, gardening, or doing anything that could bang it against metal or stone.

Cleaning (takes 30 seconds)

  1. Rinse under warm water.

  2. Gently rub with a drop of mild dish soap using your fingers or a soft toothbrush.

  3. Rinse thoroughly.

  4. Pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth (or air-dry).

That’s it, no polishing cloths or jewelry cleaner needed.

What to Avoid (rare, but important)

  • Chlorine pools & hot tubs (the chemicals can slowly degrade the EOC over time)

  • Harsh chemicals (bleach, acetone, ammonia, or strong detergents)

  • Ultrasonic or steam cleaners (they can damage the coating)

  • Abrasive surfaces (don’t scrub with baking soda or toothpaste)

Storage

  • Keep in the Makena pouch we sent you — this prevents tiny surface scratches from other jewelry.

  • If stacking, put your PVD pieces on top so harder metals don’t rub against them.

Lifetime Shine Promise

If your piece ever loses its glow because of a manufacturing defect (not normal wear), we’ll refinish or replace it free of charge, just email us a photo.
